They are confident and know the routines of the nursery well.  Children behave well. Staff set consistent boundaries for children's behaviour. This helps children to feel secure and there is a calm atmosphere throughout the nursery.  Staff observe the children and are quick to identify any gaps in their development. They take turns and share resources. They have fun playing together with a large parachute and develop good skills of coordination. Children have great opportunities to learn about the natural environment. They see horses in the next field and staff teach them not to touch them, to keep themselves safe. Children plant trees and grow their own vegetables. Staff encourage children to become independent. They learn to change their clothes and manage their own personal care. Babies respond happily when staff call them for nappy changes and snacks. Babies learn to feed themselves well and they eat healthy food. Staff teach children about foods that are good for their health and they supervise them when brushing their teeth. Children learn about different cultures and traditions.
