p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

 The childminder does not have a secure knowledge of safeguarding in relation to recent guidance and legislation. This is also a breach of the Childcare Register. However, she knows the action she must take if she has a concern about a child's welfare.  The childminder does not make contact information for Ofsted available to parents and does not have a certification of registration on display. These are also breaches of the Childcare Register.  The childminder has started to evaluate her provision. She has met the actions and recommendations from the previous inspection.  The childminder understands the areas of learning and how to observe children's play and assess their progress. She is aware of how to prepare children for the next stage in their learning, such as school.  The childminder recognises the importance of working with parents and other professionals to meet children's individual care and learning needs.

p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
