This weakness is also a breach of the Childcare Register requirements.  The childminder knows how to evaluate the provision to support her continuous professional development.  The childminder understands how she will use observations and assessments to inform children's next steps and help plan activities. She has a variety of suitable toys and resources that she will use, to help children make progress.  The childminder recognises the importance of working with parents and other professionals to benefit children.  The childminder knows how to support children's health and well-being. For example, she understands how to role model appropriate behaviour, and plans to take children to parks and toddler groups to prepare them for their future learning.  The childminder has a range of suitable policies and procedures. p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
