Activities are targeted extremely well at supporting children to build on their individual skills and abilities. Children make excellent progress in all aspects of their learning, based on their individual capabilities. Support for children who have special educational needs or disability is exceptional. The management team demonstrates a strong commitment to working with external agencies. The identification and implementation of timely interventions truly enable children to excel. Children are extremely confident, self-assured and highly motivated to learn. They make individual choices in their play and continually extend their own learning. Their behaviour is exemplary as they work collaboratively together, sharing their thoughts and ideas. Staff work tremendously well together and their engagement, enthusiasm and

commitment in children's play is inspiring. Children develop strong emotional attachments with their key person and they build very good friendships with their peers. Partnerships with parents are tremendous. Extensive information is gathered when children first start at the nursery which helps inform children's starting points. Parents continually contribute to their child's learning through the completion of their own observations, using the 'home-link bags' that staff have created.

Inspection activities
The inspector observed the quality of teaching during activities indoors and outdoors and assessed the impact this has on children's learning. The inspector also briefly observed activities in the Kool Kidz club. The inspector completed a joint observation with the nursery manager. The inspector held a meeting with the management team. The inspector looked at relevant documentation, including the nursery's self-evaluation and evidence of the suitability of staff working at the nursery. The inspector spoke to staff, children and parents during the inspection and took account of their views.
p.2
Effectiveness of the leadership and management is outstanding
The arrangements for safeguarding are effective. The entire staff team has a robust understanding of their role in protecting children. Meticulous documentation is maintained including accident records and risk assessments. Staff are deployed very effectively and this helps to ensure children are fully supervised. Self-evaluation is incisive and purposeful. The provider continually reflects and analyses systems to ensure that exceptional standards are maintained. For example, there are plans to deliver workshops for parents to enrich partnership work even further. Managers observe and monitor staff practice robustly and provide an extensive programme of professional development. This immense support enables staff to continually provide the best possible teaching and learning experiences for children. Monitoring extends to different groups of children as well as the educational programme. This provides a tremendously detailed and informative account of

Quality of teaching, learning and assessment is outstanding
Staff are very well qualified. They use expert questioning to challenge children's thinking and encourage children to describe and explain what they are doing. Children become deeply engaged in their learning. Older children strengthen their mathematical understanding as they explore the spots on ladybirds. They note which have one more, which ones are the same and count the total spots that they have. Babies delight in exploring musical instruments, copying the actions of staff as they bang drums and shake bells. Toddlers build towers with bricks, finding the tallest and shortest structure. Children make marks and practise their early writing skills using a wealth of media. Exceptional attention is given to developing children's language and communication skills. Staff support children's understanding of language through repetition, extending sentences and providing children with commentary as they play.
p.3
Personal development, behaviour and welfare are outstanding
Highly personalised settling-in information and the excellent sharing of ongoing information helps to ensure children settle very quickly. Children are happy, relaxed and show high levels of confidence and self-esteem. Staff are excellent role models demonstrating polite, patient and friendly behaviour. They support children to develop superb social skills. For example, staff teach children how to play cooperatively together and to share resources as they create slopes for their vehicles. Children's physical development is given high regard through daily opportunities to access the exceptionally well-resourced garden. Children's understanding of healthy lifestyles is extremely well supported through activities and robust daily routines, for example, daily tooth brushing.
