This provision is good
The childminder has improved her practice since the last inspection. She now has a sound understanding of how to support children who speak English as an additional language. She is clear on how to work in partnership with other settings that children attend. She reflects on the effectiveness of activities to establish what she needs to improve or develop. Children develop lovely friendships with the childminder and thoroughly enjoy her interaction. The childminder is an extremely friendly, warm and relaxed person. Parents and carers comment on this and that the childminder's home is always welcoming and positive. The childminder effectively helps children to learn through play. She encourages children to lead their play. As she joins in she explains what she is doing and encourages children to comment. She uses questions and instructions to support learning and to establish whether children are secure in their knowledge.
