parents, to keep them informed and involved in their children's development.

The provision meets requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
p.1
Inspection activities
The inspector held discussions with the childminder to explore her understanding of the requirements of the early years foundation stage. The inspector held discussions about the systems the childminder uses for self- development, for improving the service, and how she has taken steps since the last inspection to bring about improvements. The inspector discussed the required records the childminder maintains when minding, and the policies and procedures she shares with parents. The inspector looked at areas of the home used for childminding, and some of the play materials and equipment used by children.
