The childminder has embedded behavioural expectations and values and encourages children to share resources continually. She intervenes positively to help children manage their own behaviour. The childminder encourages children to respect one another at every opportunity. She recognises and celebrates special occasions with children, which helps them in understanding diversity in the community in which they live.
