The provision meets requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
p.1
Inspection activities
The inspector had a tour of the premises and checked all areas of the home the childminder plans to use when caring for children. The inspector viewed the toys, resources and equipment. The inspector discussed with the childminder how she plans to keep children safe and healthy, how she assesses any risks to children, and her methods for evaluating her provision. The inspector viewed and discussed a selection of the childminder and her assistant's documents, including the childminder's policies and procedures. The inspector held discussions with the childminder about her knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, including how she assesses children's abilities and plans for their progress.
