The provision does not meet requirements

 The childminder does not have a valid or relevant first-aid certificate. She does not have up-to-date knowledge to enable her to treat children's minor accidents and injuries. This is also a breach of the Childcare Register requirements.  The childminder understands the importance of monitoring every child's progress and planning activities that help to build on their current skills and knowledge.  The childminder knows how to work in partnership with parents and other settings that children attend, to meet children's individual care and learning needs.  The childminder understands the need to promote children's personal, social and emotional development from a young age, including through forming positive relationships.  The childminder is aware of the possible signs that may give cause for concern about children's welfare, and knows how to seek support and advice from external agencies.  The childminder understands the need to evaluate her provision and continue to update

her own skills, such as through accessing professional development opportunities.

p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
