The inspector looked at children's records and planning documentation. She looked at a range of other documentation, including policies and procedures and the childminder's self-evaluation. The inspector looked at parental feedback documents and took account of their views. The inspector spoke to the childminder and children at appropriate times during the inspection.

The arrangements for safeguarding are effective. The childminder has a robust understanding of what to do should she have concerns about the safety or welfare of a child. She regularly seeks the views of children and parents and uses this information to help her to plan ongoing improvements.
