This provision is good
Leaders have made significant improvements since their previous inspection. The manager and staff monitor children's progress to help quickly identify any gaps in development and provide for their next stage in learning. Leaders monitor staff effectively and identify relevant training according to their needs. They give regular guidance and make observations of practice. This helps to improve teaching further. Staff provide regular opportunities to involve parents in their children's learning. For example, they share children's records and have daily discussions. This helps parents to continue their children's learning at home. Children are confident, make good progress and enjoy their time at the setting. Staff encourage children to learn about healthy lifestyles, for example, they provide nutritious snacks and give children daily opportunities to be physically active. Children learn to keep themselves safe. For example, staff practise regular emergency

It is not yet outstanding because:
Staff do not make the most of opportunities to help children learn about each other's backgrounds and diversity. Children do not have a wide range of technology to explore during their play.

Inspection activities
The inspector observed the quality of teaching and the impact this has on children's learning and development. The inspector conducted a joint observation with the manager. The inspector viewed a range of documentation, including records of staff suitability checks and children's records. The inspector spoke to parents.
p.2
Effectiveness of the leadership and management is good
Leaders use the views of parents, children and other professionals to help evaluate their service. This helps to improve the quality of the provision and provides better outcomes for children in their care. They have met the actions and recommendations from the previous inspection. Safeguarding is effective. Leaders have secure recruitment procedures in place; they interview, seek references and obtain the relevant suitability checks. Staff have a secure understanding of the signs that would cause them concern about a child's welfare and the processes to follow. This helps to keep children safe from harm.
p.3
Quality of teaching, learning and assessment is good
Staff use the information from their assessments well to provide activities that support children's individual learning. Staff encourage children to use their imagination during play. For example, children mix and stir natural resources, such as shells and stones, pretending that they are making cakes. Staff support them to explore and investigate using their senses. For instance, they ask them what the mixture feels like. This helps children to keep their motivation and maintain interest in their learning. Staff build children's communication and language well. For example, they ask them what ingredients they use for their cakes at home and listen to their responses. They ask questions to help children think for themselves and take their learning further. Staff work with other settings children attend to support a consistent approach in meeting their learning and development needs.
p.3
Personal development, behaviour and welfare are good
Staff provide a stimulating and welcoming environment. Children have opportunities to lead their own play and make their own choices. They quickly engage in the wide range of activities provided for them. Staff help children to form secure emotional attachments and positive relationships. For instance, they provide them with one-to-one attention as they read stories and children cuddle close to them. Staff provide clear guidance to help children manage their own behaviour. They get down to children's level and remind them about the 'rules' of the setting.
p.3
Outcomes for children are good
Children make good progress and prepare socially and emotionally for their move to school. For example, they visit the local school with their nursery peers. Children develop their independence, such as when they pour drinks, peel fruit and tidy up after themselves after snack. Children build their mathematical skills, such as when they count shells. These are important skills they need for their future learning.
