The provision meets requirements

 The childminder demonstrates through discussion that she is aware of the early years foundation stage learning and development requirements. She identifies guidance documents that she plans to consult to aid her in ensuring that children are challenged successfully so that they make good progress.  The childminder has appropriately addressed issues raised at the time of the last inspection. She currently cares for older children only, but is aware of early years initiatives because she receives updates from representatives of the local authority.  The childminder successfully minimises risks in her home. She demonstrates a sound knowledge of what would cause her concern for a child's welfare and of her responsibilities to protect children from abuse and neglect.  The childminder describes resources and activities that she intends to use to meet the needs of children at different stages of development.

p.1

The provision meets requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.

p.1
