The provision does not meet requirements

 The childminder does not hold a current public liability insurance, as required. This is also a breach of the Childcare Register requirements.  The childminder has a positive approach to professional development. For example, since the last inspection, she has achieved a relevant qualification at level 4, and is currently undertaking a foundation degree in early years.  The childminder understands the child protection procedures and is aware of how to report any concerns she may have about children's welfare to the relevant agencies.  The childminder knows how to build on children's interests to help them make good progress. She knows how to observe and assess children's learning, and to use this information to help her plan activities and prepare them for their next stage of learning.  The childminder knows how to help children learn to respect and value each other's similarities and differences.

The provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
