Inspection activities
The inspector observed the quality of teaching during activities indoors and assessed the impact this has on children's learning. The inspector discussed with the childminder her self-evaluation and the activities that took place during the inspection. The inspector looked at relevant documentation, such as policies and procedures, children's learning records and checked evidence of the childminder's suitability and qualifications. The inspector toured the areas of the childminder's home where childminding activities take place. The inspector took account of the written views of parents.
