The inspector looked at documents relating to the suitability of staff, a selection of policies and procedures and children's records. The inspector took account of the views of parents and children spoken to on the day and from written feedback provided.
p.2

Clear policies, procedures and risk assessments are implemented effectively. The provider uses thorough recruitment and vetting procedures to help ensure staff suitability. Staff are well deployed to support children's safety and well-being. The manager evaluates and monitors the quality of the club effectively and implements clear development plans. For example, she promotes the continuing professional development of staff through training, to improve children's play experiences. The manager evaluates the quality of the provision well and has a good capacity to develop the setting further. She has made successful improvements since the last inspection, to enhance children's well-being and play opportunities.
p.3
