The provision does not meet requirements
The childminder is unfamiliar with how to observe children's play and make assessments of what they already know and can do. She does not know how to establish the starting points for children's learning or what they need to learn next. The childminder does not have sufficient knowledge of how to complete the progress check for children aged between two and three years. The childminder does not have sufficient understanding of the documentation she is required to keep. The childminder has a current first-aid qualification.
p.1
The provision does not meet requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
