This provision is good
Children are confident learners. Staff know their key children well and place emphasis on nurturing their emotional well-being. Partnerships with parents are good. Staff ensure parents are able to contribute fully to their children's learning and celebrate achievements. Children's continued learning at home is fostered through a range of activities and effective systems for communication. Leaders promote the professional development of staff effectively to support consistent teaching. For example they ensure that the staff share good practice for the benefit of all children. Children are confident communicators. For example, staff use a wide range of effective teaching strategies to develop children's speaking, listening and vocabulary skills. The management team demonstrates a vision, determination and passion for continual improvements. It constantly reflects on what is working well and what is not, to help

Inspection activities
The inspector observed the quality of teaching during activities indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact this had on children's learning. The inspector completed a joint observation with the manager and the area manager. The inspector held meetings with the management team, and looked through sample documentation, such as policies and staff suitability forms. The inspector sampled parents' questionnaires and took account of the views of parents spoken to on the day of the inspection. The inspector looked at a sample of children's learning and development records.
p.2
Effectiveness of the leadership and management is good
The arrangements for safeguarding are effective. Staff implement robust policies and procedures to safeguard children's welfare. Staff have a good understanding of the procedures to follow should any concerns arise. Good risk assessments are completed regularly to identify and minimise possible hazards. Qualified first aiders are deployed effectively to deal with accidents promptly. Self-evaluation is accurate. The views of parents and children are continuously sought, particularly when evaluating activities. The management team monitors staff practices well. For example, it provides regular training, support and coaching to help improve outcomes for children.
p.3
Quality of teaching, learning and assessment is good
Staff are knowledgeable about their roles and have high expectations for all children. They provide a good range of learning experiences that capture children's interests and curiosity, motivating them to learn. For example, toddlers sustain a high level of engagement as they make sensory bags. Staff skilfully question children to extend their thinking. For instance, staff challenge older children to think about what makes plants grow, and babies enjoy looking at their reflections in the mirror. Staff effectively monitor children's level of achievement. They assess how children progress and quickly address any gaps in learning to help all children make good progress.
p.3
Personal development, behaviour and welfare are good
Children thrive well in this warm and welcoming learning environment. A carefully tailored approach enables children to settle quickly when coming into the nursery or moving to other rooms. For example, children see photos of their families, which help them to be secure. Children learn to respect and value one another. For example, staff listen attentively to children and value their unique ideas. Staff provide stimulating resources and activities that reflect the cultures and backgrounds of children. Staff promote children's physical well-being effectively. For example, children eat freshly prepared nutritious meals and enjoy robust physical activity outside.
p.3
Outcomes for children are good
All children make good progress from their starting points and are well prepared for the next stage of their learning, including school. Children develop good manipulative skills. For example, toddlers show a high level of competence when they make marks on leaves making sure they are covered, babies delight in stacking cups and older children enjoy using constructing models. Children are inquisitive and are becoming critical thinkers.
