The provision meets requirements

 The childminder understands child protection issues. She knows the signs and symptoms that would cause her to be concerned about a child's welfare, and the procedures to follow to report these.  The childminder knows how to identify children's starting points. She understands how to use observation and assessment of their learning to help her plan activities that will challenge and encourage their continual development and ongoing progress.  The childminder knows how to prepare children for the next stages in their learning and their move on to school or nursery. She understands the importance of promoting their independence and personal care skills, to help them develop the skills they will need for their future learning.  The childminder understands the importance of working in partnership with parents. For example, she knows how to provide parents with regular feedback about children's care and learning.

p.1

The provision meets requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.

p.1
