The provision does not meet requirements

 The childminder has failed to notify Ofsted of changes to her circumstances. In addition, she does not hold a current paediatric first-aid certificate, which means that she is unable to care appropriately for children should minor accidents occur.  The childminder understands her responsibility to protect children's welfare. She knows the procedures to follow in the event of child protection concerns. She understands the importance of carrying out thorough risk assessments of her home and for any planned outings to minimize risks to children. A range of policies to support the childminder's practice are in place.  The childminder shows she understands the importance of promoting children's healthy lifestyles and their physical development. She discusses giving children regular opportunities to be outside in the fresh air, enjoying the equipment and experiences in in her garden and on trips into the community.

The provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
