The provision does not meet requirements
This inspection was brought forward due to concerns raised about not notifying Ofsted about the provider, members of the committee and manager. The provider has failed to notify Ofsted of changes to the provider, members of the committee and the appointment of a new manager. This means that the necessary procedures to ascertain their suitability have not been completed. The manager and staff have a sound knowledge of possible signs of abuse. They have completed safeguarding training and know the procedure to follow if they have concerns about a child. All staff have attended first-aid training. The manager demonstrates a good awareness of planning a balance of activities. She recognises the importance of working in partnership with parents and school staff to support children's learning. The manager has clear expectations of staff to encourage positive behaviour by children and to help them understand behavioural expectations in the setting.
p.1
The provision does not meet requirements
The manager and staff understand the importance of promoting children's good health and physical development. They describe how they provide children with regular opportunities to play outside where they can be more active. Arrangements for the provision of healthy snacks and meals are clear. The manager and staff understand the importance of ensuring that the premises are safe for children to use. They carry out risk assessments of the premises and public liability insurance is maintained. The manager knows how to reflect on her practice and consider the views of parents and children when evaluating the setting.
p.1
The provision does not meet requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.

Inspection activities
We carried out this inspection as a result of a risk assessment, following information we received about this provider. The inspector held discussions with the manager regarding her knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and a telephone discussion with the provider. The inspector looked at and discussed a range of records, policies and procedures with the manager. The inspector checked evidence of suitability and qualifications of staff working with children and discussed the provider's self-evaluation. The inspector viewed all areas of the setting and the range of toys, equipment and resources available for children in the early years age group.
