The childminder has exceptional partnerships with other professionals and this helps to provide excellent continuity of care for children. For example, they work extremely well together to promote all aspects of the childminder's excellent practice and target areas to strengthen even further. She monitors and tracks children's development and is able to highlight and narrow any gaps in their achievement very quickly. This helps to further promote the extremely high-quality care and learning. The childminder works extremely well with parents. Parents also share children's learning at home, which further strengthens the childminder's assessments of their progress. The childminder takes the children on outings to local places. At home, they then made and decorated paper boats and sailed them in a race in the garden.

They brush the puppet's teeth and hair and learn to feed it. Children happily help to decide on activities to carry out during the week. The childminder helps children to learn about healthy lifestyles very effectively. For example, she finds out the children's likes and dislikes from the parents, and sits with the children to plan menus. Children also have excellent access to resources to promote their physical development.

p.3
