The childminder is extremely well organised and uses a variety of ways to keep her knowledge of the requirements and changes to legislation up to date. She accesses training that will help support children's learning further. For example, she has recently completed training on schemas and also learning in the outdoors. The childminder very successfully monitors children's progress and completes highly accurate assessments to ensure that children make excellent progress in their learning. The childminder gains information from observations to tailor inspirational activities to build on children's interests and challenge them in their learning. Opportunities for children to explore and understand technology are less well developed. The childminder uses her experience, skills and extremely strong knowledge and understanding of the learning and development requirements to promote children's learning exceptionally well. She provides exceptionally creative and engaging activities that support children's development in all areas.

p.3

Children benefit from healthy and nutritious meals, which strongly contribute towards their physical well-being and their understanding of healthy lifestyles. Care routines are carried out extremely sensitively and hygienically, and this helps support children's physical well-being.

p.3

Outcomes for children are outstanding

The highly successful activities engage and challenge children. They are inquisitive and active learners which helps them to make excellent progress.
