p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

 The childminder has failed to ensure that all adults in her household complete the required Disclosure and Barring Service check and was unaware of the need to do so. She has not informed Ofsted of changes to people living in her home in a timely manner. These are also breaches of the Childcare Register.  The childminder does not hold an in-date paediatric first-aid certificate. This means she does not have up-to-date knowledge to enable her to treat children's minor injuries. The childminder has not maintained valid public liability insurance. These are also breaches of the Childcare Register.  The childminder does not have a suitable range of toys and resources available for childminding. However, she knows the importance of monitoring the children's progress and of planning experiences to meet children's differing individual learning needs.  The childminder understands how to provide clear guidance for children to promote

p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
