The provision does not meet requirements
The arrangements for safeguarding are not effective. The provider and staff who work with children have not completed safeguarding training. Adults do not have a secure understanding of what to do in the event of a child being at risk. Staff who work with children are not trained in paediatric first aid. They do not have up-to-date knowledge of how to deal with accidents, injuries or the serious illness of a child. This poses a potential risk to children's safety and well-being. The provider does not have systems in place for the supervision, performance management and professional development of staff. Standards of care are not monitored and weaknesses in practice are not identified and addressed. In the absence of the manager, staff are not sufficiently trained to meet the safeguarding and welfare requirements effectively. The provider and staff team have a good understanding of activities and resources they

need to provide for the range of children who attend, both indoors and outdoors. A named deputy is not in place who can take charge of the club in the absence of the manager. This potentially compromises children's safety and well-being. The provider understands the importance of working in partnership with parents to ensure all children's needs are met.
p.1
The provision does not meet requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
