This provision is good
The childminder provides a good quality of teaching. She plans and provides a well- balanced range of learning opportunities to help promote and advance children's continued learning. The childminder uses a good system to track and monitor children's development. This enables her to assess children's learning and target the next stages in their development, to help all children reach their full potential from their starting points. Children play and explore comfortably in the childminder's home. They show that they are happy and confident in the care of the childminder, who meets their needs well. Partnerships with parents and others professionals are robust. The childminder ensures she maintains good, open relationships with all, to promote continuity in children's care. The childminder has useful methods to evaluate her skills and reflect on her practice. She identifies and completes relevant training to help her to make a difference in the

education and play she provides for the children.
p.1
It is not yet outstanding because:
Children's knowledge and understanding of the similarities and differences in people in the world around them is not as well developed as other aspects of their learning. The childminder does not always enable children to have many opportunities to play with toys and resources that encourage their creative development.
