opportunities to talk about risks in play and road safety. The childminder values good relationships with parents and seeks to establish open communication links with them from the start. She demonstrates knowledge of gathering appropriate information from parents when a child begins to attend the setting. The childminder works to improve the provision through using the internet and attendance at training events. An informal self-evaluation plan which identifies priorities for improvement is in place. She also shows a commitment to professional development. The provider has implemented the recommendations set at the last inspection. This has resulted in improved assessment methods to monitor children's progress. This demonstrates the childminder's capacity to improve and further develop her provision.

The provision meets requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
