Summary of complaint
On 20 February 2016 we received information that raised concern about the provider's ability to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage. At the inspection we looked at the concerns, in particular, the requirements relating to: staff deployment. We found that children's care and learning, is not always being promoted. This is because although ratios are maintained throughout the day, staff are not always deployed effectively to ensure children receive good quality experiences that fully meet the needs of every child. The legal requirements for the Early Years Foundation Stage are not met. This weakness in practice breaches the legal requirements. Following our inspection, we sent the provider a Notice to Improve asking them to: ensure staff are deployed effectively at all times so that all children benefit from highly quality care and learning opportunities.
