The childminder demonstrates an exceptional desire to improve. She is highly committed to her own professional development. Following training, she has reviewed her methods of teaching to meet the children's differing learning styles, creatively inspiring all children to learn. The childminder has a highly effective system for monitoring the quality of teaching and the progress that children make. She quickly identifies children that require some additional help and works with other professionals to help them catch up quickly. They set the table, help to prepare meals and sweep the floor. Children learn to make healthy food choices at lunch, which helps to contribute to a healthy lifestyle.

p.3
