Safeguarding is effective. The manager ensures staff supervise children vigilantly and implement the robust policies and procedures to keep children safe from harm. The manager and staff team continually reflect on their practice to strengthen their first-rate provision. The manager has identified that the opportunities for early reading are not as strong as they could be. In addition, recent observations in the baby room have helped staff review how babies use the resources. Staff have involved parents in creating baskets filled with sensory objects to help improve babies' exploration. The manager provides high quality support for staff. Staff show an exceptional commitment to training, which has a positive impact on children's development. For example, following a recent course, staff have made materials more easily accessible, which has helped to strengthen children's early writing skills. The manager and staff foster children's learning at every chance.

They enjoy daily visits to the local parks, shops or post office. Children thoroughly enjoy the outings that promote a wealth of learning, including about safety, such as crossing the roads.
