The childminder has not kept her first-aid training up to date. This means she is unable to manage children's accidents appropriately to promote their health and safety. This is also a breach of the Childcare Register requirements. The childminder understands her responsibility to report any child protection concerns and to keep suitable records with regard to safeguarding. However, she does not have a written procedure as required for the Childcare Register. The childminder is aware of the need to work closely with parents. She uses shared information to meet the individual welfare and learning needs of children. The childminder understands her role to promote children's physical well-being. The provision does not meet requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
