As a result, children make good progress from their starting points. The well-qualified and experienced childminder attends various training to extend her knowledge even further; this enables her to provide a range of purposeful learning experiences for children. The childminder establishes positive partnerships with parents and other adults involved in children's lives, so they can work together to support children's individual needs and promote their development. The childminder is an excellent role model. She is patient, caring and allows children to show how they are feeling, which helps them to learn how to cooperate with others. This supports their ongoing development and readiness for the next steps in their learning. The childminder regularly reviews her setting and reflects on all aspects of her service.
