who attend. This is outstanding

The quality of teaching is excellent and children gain the key skills to support their future learning. The childminder has high expectations of herself and the children in her care and has a superb understanding of how young children learn and develop. The exceptional quality of observation, assessment and planning provides imaginative and highly inspiring activities that engage children and enable them to make outstanding progress. Children's communication skills are enhanced particularly well by the childminder as they play and learn together. As a result, children are extremely confident in expressing themselves effectively. Resources are extremely well organised to promote children's curiosity and exploration. Equality and inclusion are at the heart of everything that the childminder does with the children. Therefore, they have highly innovative opportunities to fully develop their understanding of differences in cultures and people with differing abilities.

p.3

outstanding

The childminder provides a homely environment which is very much led by children. She knows the children in her care very well and is extremely attentive to their needs. Therefore, children are very happy and confident in her care. Children benefit from exciting opportunities to develop their physical skills. They have excellent opportunities to play in the garden and go on regular visits to local attractions and woodland areas. The childminder and children talk about foods that are healthy during play and planting activities in the garden. Children are learning how to manage their behaviour exceptionally well and are exceedingly considerate of each other's needs. This is because the childminder uses rich, varied and imaginative strategies to help children to understand what is expected of them. This has a positive impact on children's emotional well-being as they develop respect for themselves and each other.

p.3

provision is outstanding

The well-qualified childminder has meticulously addressed the recommendations from the previous inspection. The childminder has excellent monitoring procedures in place and is able to identify any gaps in her provision or areas where children need additional support. The childminder fully understands the importance of working in partnership with external agencies and services to ensure children receive the appropriate support they need. She has plans in place to work with other professionals on a regular basis. This is so she can provide even more inspiring learning opportunities for the children in her care. Highly complimentary parental feedback highlights that they are delighted with the service they receive and are incredibly happy with how well their children are progressing.
