who attend. This is outstanding
The childminder's enthusiasm is contagious and children excitedly engage in activities and experiences that inspire them to try out ideas and develop new skills. The childminder uses highly skilled questioning to encourage children to think and solve problems. There are many opportunities for them to count and recognise numerals. For example, they counted the number of potatoes they have planted, as they took them from the soil. They also recognise numerals as they find the number on their chair at lunchtime. However, occasionally, the childminder misses opportunities for them to combine and separate groups of objects or sort objects in size order. Children make exceptional progress in their language development. The childminder actively listens to what children have to say, models language effectively and introduces new words to the children as they play. Children have excellent opportunities to develop their literacy skills. They have a wide
