who attend. This is outstanding

Staff use excellent teaching methods, which are extremely effective in preparing children for school. For example, staff know the children extremely well, make intuitive observations of children's learning and carry out continual assessments. This information is then used by the staff to provide challenging and exciting opportunities to extend children's mathematical and literacy learning. Consequently, children excel in their understanding of counting, numbers, calculation and in their writing skills. Staff quickly identify any need for additional support to help narrow any gaps in children's learning. Targeted work during group activities and individually, help children make significant progress from their starting points. Staff place top priority on encouraging children's communication and language. They give older children time to think and clarify their ideas to extend their creativity and imagination. Staff caring for babies skilfully use songs, their
