This provision is outstanding
The childminder provides an outstanding range of high-quality learning experiences for children; she considers their interests and plans for their individual needs. Consequently, children thrive and develop to their maximum potential in this highly inclusive environment. Children form exceptional relationships with the childminder. This is because she is highly sensitive in helping children form close, secure attachments through exemplary organisation of their settling-in period. Children benefit greatly from excellent opportunities to explore the outdoor area, which is impressively resourced. As a result, children learn and develop in a highly stimulating, exciting and varied environment. The childminder shows great empathy with parents and sensitively develops highly effective, professional relationships with them and schools that children attend. The childminder is highly knowledgeable and motivated to raise teaching to a consistently high quality. She achieves this through attending various courses and taking part in numerous educational groups, where she shares and gains new ideas for inspiring and innovative experiences for children. who attend. This is outstanding
The quality of teaching is outstanding. Observations and assessments for all children are precise, focused and accurate. Children are highly motivated, confident and eager to join in and explore the exciting activities. The childminder makes resources which are exactly tailored to children's interests and developmental needs. For example, the well-resourced, low-level mud kitchen in the garden enables very young children to explore and gain new experiences. The childminder has expert knowledge of how children learn and develop. She fully supports younger children's language development with constant interactions. She provides a running commentary on their actions and introduces new vocabulary. For example, when children use different kitchen utensils playing in mud kitchen, she explains what the masher and wooden spoon are used for. The childminder takes children to different local playgroups regularly, which effectively raises their awareness of where they

outstanding
Children are extremely happy, very comfortable and feel secure in the childminder's house. The childminder follows excellent procedures to teach children how to keep themselves safe and healthy. For example, she explains to younger children when equipment is not safe for them and why. The childminder provides a strong base for children, which encourages their independence and ability to explore. For example, even younger children have opportunities to cut up bananas at snack time. The childminder supports children in understanding the needs of others. Consequently, children play harmoniously and are happy to share. The childminder constantly praises children for their achievements, which boosts their self-esteem and develops pride in their achievements.

provision is outstanding
The childminder has an excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage. She uses comprehensive monitoring procedures to identify and address any gaps in children's learning highly efficiently. The childminder is highly effective in driving improvement. She demonstrates an uncompromising commitment towards achieving excellence in all areas by regular evaluation of her practice. The childminder recently discovered children's interest in using technology. Although she has some resources to support this interest, this area is not as well-resourced as other areas to increase children's knowledge of how things work and expand their understanding of the world. The childminder seeks parents' and children's views through regular chats and questionnaires. Parents share very positive comments about her service and that their children develop extremely well and are happy.
