This provision is good
Staff know the children well and create a warm and loving atmosphere. Therefore, they promote children's well-being effectively. Staff teach children well and work closely with parents to promote their children's development. This results in consistency of care and learning for children, so they progress well. Staff communicate well with children and with each other, so children learn good language and behaviour skills. The manager has a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage. She supports her team to develop their knowledge and skills, in order to improve outcomes for children.
p.1
It is not yet outstanding because:
Staff do not fully provide opportunities for children to express their preferences and make their own choices during some daily routines and activities. This slightly reduces opportunities for independent learning. Staff do not provide a wide range of opportunities for children to learn in environments outside of the setting, including natural environments. Therefore, they do not fully promote children's understanding of the world in this respect.

who attend. This is good
Staff promote children's physical skills well. They provide opportunities for children to make big movements and children learn to move freely and with confidence. Staff set up interesting reading and writing areas, and children are motivated to read and write as part of their play. Staff count with children, recite number rhymes and encourage children to use mathematical language. They organise different opportunities for professionals to visit the setting, including from the fire brigade, dental practices and music groups. These visits help children to learn about different cultures and occupations. Staff provide digital equipment, wheeled toys, sand and many other resources, outdoors and indoors. They use these well to help children engage in their learning and to be creative in their play. Staff keep records of what children can do and share these with parents. They use this information to assess children's progress and to plan experiences to help all children make

good
Staff create a warm, challenging and loving environment for the children, and children grow in self-confidence. For example, staff lead imaginary games with the younger children. As a result, children make sounds together, move their bodies in different ways and enjoy their experiences. Staff encourage children to hang up their own coats and sort their belongings. They teach children to wash their hands to keep them clean. These routines help children to remain healthy and establish good habits for school. Staff develop good relationships with children and talk to them throughout the day. This helps children to feel emotionally secure and at home in the setting. Staff sit with children at snack and mealtimes and children are encouraged to talk about their home lives. Staff help children to manage their behaviour well. They encourage them to share resources and wait for their turn. As a result, children learn good habits for school.

provision is good
The manager keeps clear policies that she and the staff put into practice well. The action set at the last inspection has been met and the manager has made clear changes to the quality of the provision. She also knows what needs to be done to improve practice further. As a result, outcomes for children are good. The manager takes great care to recruit suitable staff and carries out supervision meetings to help develop their practice. She observes teaching and organises training for all staff. She attends closely to children's safety and ensures that staff are equally effective in this respect. The manager carries out regular fire drills and makes sure that all staff know what to do if they have any child protection concerns. As a result, staff are effective in keeping children safe.
