The provision meets requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
p.1
Inspection activities
The inspector discussed with the childminder how he will meet children's individual learning and development needs, and how he will observe, assess and track children's progress. The inspector and the childminder discussed the arrangements for safeguarding and the risk assessment procedures. The inspector looked at the areas of the childminder's home to be used when caring for children, together with the toys, resources and equipment. The inspector looked at the policies and documents the childminder will use when caring for children. The inspector looked at the childminder's training certificates and checked evidence of the suitability for all adults in the household.
