who attend. This is good

The childminder provides a welcoming environment where children can explore freely. She provides a range of toys and equipment to suit children's stage of development. The quality of teaching is good. Equipment is organised so children can choose what they want to play with. The childminder is skilful in her interaction with children, promoting their communication and language skills. As a result, children make good progress. However, there are fewer opportunities for children to engage in high-quality role play to strengthen their creative development. The childminder completes learning profiles for children that she shares with parents. She records information about the care children have received as well as a summary of the activities they have taken part in. However, the system for sharing information on planned

This means they behave safely and responsibly. She acknowledges children's efforts and achievements with praise. Consequently, children feel good about themselves. provision is good

The childminder understands her role and responsibilities in meeting the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage. The childminder reflects on the quality of the care and education she provides, and seeks the views of parents and children. As a result, she identifies areas for improvement and seeks to address them. She has addressed the recommendations of the previous inspection resulting in more robust risk assessment. The childminder is committed to attending training to improve her practice. She monitors how well the children are doing in their learning to give her a good overview of any gaps in achievement. Effective partnerships with other settings help to maintain continuity for children at the childminder's home and at nursery.
