who attend. This is good

The childminder has a good understanding of how to promote children's learning and development. She plans a range of activities and adapts them to meet children's individual interests and needs. As a result, children stay focused and engaged for long periods. They develop their muscles as they roll out play dough, which develops the muscle strength and control they need for writing. The childminder uses this opportunity to encourage their understanding of shape and size, developing their mathematical knowledge well. Children talk to the childminder about what they are making. The childminder uses opportunities such as these effectively to ask questions that extend the children's vocabulary. Children's language skills develop well. The childminder completes regular observations of children and consistently supports them to achieve their next steps for learning.
