who attend. This is outstanding
The childminder has an excellent understanding of child development and how they learn through play and exploration. She creates a vibrant and interesting learning environment for children in her home and garden. Children have excellent opportunities to make choices about what they do and to follow their own interests. For example, they become engrossed in taking things in and out of buckets outside, and become absorbed in dipping objects into the water in the buckets. Children carry these around and enjoy putting them into wheelbarrows to push them about. They are given plenty of time to carry out these investigations without distraction. Children have opportunities to explore a wide variety of materials, including sand, water and foam. For example, they are fascinated to experience the feel of shaving foam on their hands. They are interested by the marks that their fingers leave in the foam. The childminder intends to enrich these opportunities further. As

They have regular opportunities to mix with other children and adults, for example, they attend toddler groups and visit local parks and farms.
