who attend. This is outstanding

Children are highly motivated, confident and eager to join in the exciting activities on offer, or make their own choices. Children progress extremely well in their communication and language skills. The childminder and her assistant constantly talk to the children and skilfully use questions to help them think for themselves. Children initiate many activities themselves and the childminder skilfully uses their interest to extend their learning. For example, she extended children's interest in bugs by purchasing a mini aquarium for the snail. Children look after it by watering the soil and feeding it. As a result, children learn about nature and how to be responsible. The childminder and her assistant introduce mathematical language during children's play. For example, they compare dinosaur sizes, count the legs of different insects and recognise train numbers. The childminder provides many stimulating resources, inside and outside, although they are slightly less developed

They visit a huge amount of different places of interest, such as London museums, the zoo, local fire station, supermarkets and many more. This effectively raises children's awareness of where they live. The childminder significantly promotes their physical and
