Overall, staff use good teaching skills as they model the use of resources and use questions skilfully to promote discussions that prompt children to think. Staff support children learning English as an additional language effectively by monitoring their progress closely. provision is good

The management team has a good overview of the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage. They follow robust recruitment procedures for new staff to ensure they are suitable and understand their roles fully. In addition, staff receive regular supervision where they have time to discuss children's progress and their professional development. Following recent staff training on mathematical development, staff have improved their teaching practices. For example, staff now use mathematical language during play, which has greatly improved children's understanding. Management reflects on practice well and knows how to drive forward improvements to benefit children. Staff work well with parents and other professionals to support children who have additional needs, to strengthen the progress children make.
