who attend. This is outstanding
The childminder has an excellent knowledge of the learning and development requirements and implements them to an extremely high standard. She places great importance on children leading their own learning. Resources are well organised and presented in various ways to enable children to make choices. The childminder skilfully observes children and where she sees opportunities to further extend their development she becomes involved in their play. For example, during water play she provides a number of exciting resources, such as funnels, to develop children's ideas about pouring and filling different containers. The childminder talks about what they are doing, modelling new words appropriate to the activity. She consistently extends communication and language development. Consequently, children use their imagination and are highly motivated and curious learners. Children have very good opportunities to express themselves creatively,

The childminder is an excellent role model, and helps children learn about boundaries and expectations. Resources outside entice children to explore and investigate while enjoying the fresh air and exercising. Enriching and purposefully planned activities enhance children's sensory skills. For example, they use a kaleidoscopic mirror to help explore the shapes and patterns of shells and other natural objects. As a result, children are very confident and independent learners.
