The childminder meets children's physical care needs to an exceptionally high standard. Children take an active role in physical play as they use the climbing equipment in the garden and visit the local toddler group. Children play happily together because they are listened to by the childminder and she teaches them to listen to one another. The childminder and her assistant encourage children to take turns, share and help each other. All these actions help children to be very well prepared to manage changes when necessary, such as the move to nursery or school.
