Children are very at ease and happy in the childminder's care. They confidently encourage others to share resources, for example, when using scented modelling dough and tools. The childminder provides children with plenty of time to play and explore. As a result, they develop independence, new skills and a great interest in learning. They help lay the table at mealtimes, butter items at snack time and pour drinks. Children develop an excellent awareness of the importance of good health. For example, the childminder encourages them to talk about why they need to wear sun cream and mosquito spray.
