who attend. This is outstanding

Staff provide a wide variety of fun and exciting activities for the children throughout the day. Staff ensure that all children are included; for example, children undertook creative activities indoors and staff regularly engaged with the youngest children in the room. The activities are excellently tailored to suit all children and as a result they are highly motivated and eager to participate. Staff consistently encourage children to try different activities and to do their best. This increases their independence and inspires self- confidence. They happily occupy themselves using alternative resources, but the range of activities to choose from is not as extensive as at other times.

Staff are exceptionally skilled at making sure that all children are happy, safe and secure at all times. Staff console children who are upset by being kind and nurturing. They provide regular opportunities to boost children's self-esteem and confidence. For example, the children were all made captains to lead teams of older children in a mini Olympics activity. Staff are highly proactive and take every opportunity to teach children good values, such as respect and being kind to others. They constantly promote children's health and well-being by emphasising the importance of safety, regularly drinking water, undertaking regular exercise and keeping clean. As a result, children are well-behaved, interact extremely well with each other and engage in excellent hygiene routines. All children are aware of the behavioural expectations and act accordingly.
