The provision meets requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
p.1
Inspection activities
The inspector sampled the available documentation that the childminder plans to use. The inspector looked around the areas of the home and the toys, equipment and resources available for children's use, and discussed risk assessment methods. The inspector discussed the process of self-evaluation, including establishing whether the childminder has addressed previous actions and recommendations from the last inspection. The inspector held discussions with the childminder about the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage, and how to plan for and assess children's progress.
