Thorough and effective planning for children's learning and development ensures that all children make excellent progress. Staff are excellent role models, and consequently, children have exceptionally high standards of behaviour. Children have positive attitudes towards learning. At story time, they were captivated by the exciting impromptu and evolving story that they all played a part in creating. Staff frequently empower children with exciting choices and decision-making opportunities. When the children said they wanted to make a race track, they chose the resources and its layout, and together worked out how to join it together. Staff step back and allow children to experiment, take risks, make mistakes, and learn from those mistakes. Children exude obvious enjoyment and pleasure from these well-structured and purposeful activities. Resources at the nursery, both indoors and outside, are of high quality.
