early years provision

This inspection: Not Met Previous inspection: 3

p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

 The childminder does not have an up-to-date knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements and evaluation of her practice is weak. This means she does not meet the learning and development and some safeguarding and welfare requirements. There are also failures to meet some of the requirements of the Childcare Register.  The childminder has a limited understanding of child protection issues to safeguard children's welfare. She is unaware of the possible signs and symptoms that cause concern for a child's welfare and the procedures to follow should she have a concern. Her safeguarding policy does not include a statement regarding the use of mobile phones and cameras on her premises.  The childminder does not have a current paediatric first-aid certificate. She lacks up-to- date knowledge and skills to meet children's needs in an accident or emergency.  The childminder has failed to inform Ofsted of all adults over the age of 16 years who
