p.1
The provision does not meet requirements
This inspection was brought forward because Ofsted received a complaint which relates to safeguarding policy, outings, ratios, accidents, child supervision, key person and staff deployment. The provider does not meet the safeguarding and welfare requirements in the holiday club, but does in the after-school-club. The provider does not implement an effective key-person system. Such staff do not always know children's names, or establish relationships with them and their parents. The provider does not ensure staff implement effective systems to always keep children safe on outings. When children take part who should not, their safety is at risk. Staff do not always implement accident procedures effectively, so parents are informed of these as required. This weakness places children's good health at risk. The provider responds to parental complaints within the given timescales. Action taken when errors are identified relating to these are not good enough to meet requirements.
p.1
The provision does not meet requirements
The provider and staff are aware of the child protection procedures to follow if they have welfare concerns about children. Childcare Register requirements are not met. The provider plans a variety of play experiences that children enjoy in good facilities.
